Low Temp Storage

Cold Storage.

“Keep your food as fresh as the day it was harvested.”

Bethlehem firmly understands the critical difference in building "cool" storage and low temp freezer buildings. The vapor drive increases its imperative to make sure the vapor barrier is fully and properly intact. Without it you will likely experience building damage, product loss and costly maintenance and repairs.

Another critical feature of low temp construction is the floor system that is installed to avoid floor heaving from freezing below. Bethlehem understand the increasingly important nature of thermal design to promote energy efficiency and reduce operating expense.

VAPOR BARRIERS

A properly designed and installed vapor barrier is a critical component for low temp storage facilities. Without one, or with a poor one, it is a matter of time before big problems arise often resulting in expensive fixes, unusable portions of buildings and risk of injury to your workforce.  Bethlehem understands the design and installation of vapor barriers and will see to it that your building is well prepared for the vapor drive situations that it will be operating in.

HEATED FLOORS

Floor heating, or other anti-freeze systems, are another portion of the building that highly affects operational efficiency, safety and maintenance costs. Without a floor heating system, or anti-freeze design, floors can be damaged and lifted creating bumps and forklift ledges. In some cases, this can result in drastic lifting in some areas but not others which could make the floor impassible or create bumps that can be hard on the product. We'll discuss the options with you and help you select the best system based on your region, soil types and style of operation.

THERMAL EFFICIENCY

As the inside temperature goes down the more thermal efficiency comes into play. Good thermal efficiency will save energy and money as you go about operating your business.
